It's national Pension Awareness Week, so we’re engaging with you through a 3 part series of campaigns.

On Monday 9 September, in Part 1 we covered a Financial ‘MOT’ which provides links to useful resources and tools to increase your awareness about where to start with forward planning.

We also talked about how the ‘Pension Attention’ campaigners have appointed The Only Way is Essex’s star Gemma Collins – ‘the GC’ to tell you all about ‘paying your pension some attention’ with some tips on what you should be thinking of to become confident for your financial future. There are details about the National Pension Awareness campaign’s live sessions (which you can view any time if you missed them), Automatic Re-enrolment and Pensions Dashboards too!

On Wednesday 11 September, in Part 2 we communicated will all members contributing, deferred and pensioners, about our latest funding position, how well the Fund is performing and how our approach to responsible investment is winning us awards.

It also covered updates on how our EAPF Online portal is now more secure, how we’ll be moving more of our communications to digital and provided some useful information about pension scams.

On Friday 13 September, for Part 3 we communicated with our contributing members about our upcoming EAPF Pension Webinar series 2024 which opened to receive bookings and we also have an exciting opportunity to join our Pensions Committee. We also covered the importance of making a death grant nomination, and your latest annual pension statements.
