You may be buying:
- Additional membership in the LGPS (facility removed from 1 April 2008); and/or
- Additional pension via ARCs (facility removed from 1 April 2014)
Please note that these were historic facilities that have since been removed from the scheme. However, any elections made before these facilities were removed are able to continue for the term of the contract.
If you’re currently buying additional membership or additional pension via ARCs and you choose to stop paying for them, you won’t be able to re-start these contracts from a later date.
