Your statement provides you with the current value of your EAPF pension and also helps you understand the value of your pension when you reach your prescribed retirement date, known as your normal pension age (NPA) within the Scheme.
It reminds you about whether you’ve nominated beneficiaries and how your benefits compare against pension tax limits. The statement will be sent to you by the end of August and it’s important that you check that the section of the scheme you’re in and your pay are correct. Contact details will be provided on the statement.
Your statement was sent to you in the post on 24 August and will be added to your EAPF Online account shortly if you’ve registered for the service. You can use the modeller within EAPF Online to work out how much you’ll receive if you were to take your pension earlier.
