Prudential have announced that they’ll no longer apply an exit charge to any member accessing their Local Government Pension AVCs. The change was effective from 3 December 2018.
In March 2017, Prudential announced their exit charge would no longer apply to new AVC arrangements, and have recently confirmed it has now removed the 1% exit charge for existing AVC arrangements, thereby removing the charge in all instances.
