Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI)

EAPF have joined forces with the Church of England's National Investing Bodies to launch a major initiative identifying companies that pose the biggest climate change risk.

The Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI) launched 11 January 2017 introduces a free online tool, developed with the Grantham Institute at the London School of Economics and using data from FTSE Russell, the index provider.

The online tool ranks companies by two measures: how well their management is dealing with climate change risks, and how effective they are at achieving carbon reduction.

For more details you can read the full TPI Press Release.

Portfolio Decarbonization Coalition (PDC)

EAPF are a signatory of the Portfolio Decarbonization Coalition (PDC). PDC was co-founded by UNEP FI, AP4, Amundi and CDP. PDC is a multi-stakeholder initiative that seeks to support and catalyse the transition to a low-carbon economy by encouraging and mobilising institutional investors to decarbonize their investment portfolios.

We're pleased to have been asked to contribute a case study to the PDC progress report for 2016.
